Faculty

 Shiro Hatae  graduated from the Tokyo College of Music and  the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with the Première prix and the Selmer prize. He has also performed as a soloist with numerous professional orchestras and in his recital as a soloist in Tokyo and all over Japan. 

Shiro has been invited to the Manhattan School of Music and other institutions for masterclasses and recitals.. He is a member of the award winning saxophone quartet SPIRITUS. They have  received a special selected prize for their two consecutive albums by a record label magazine.

Shiro is currently a  lecturer of saxophone , chamber music and wind ensemble at the Tokyo College of Music and Shobi Music College. He was a faculty member of APSA 2023.
